First
Presbyterian Church of Atlanta is a congregation of 3,000 members. Our membership
is richly diverse with people of all ages and many different cultural and
ethnic groups involved in every area of church life. Through our ministries,
we offer dynamic worship services with biblically based sermons and inspiring
music, an outstanding Christian education program for all ages, an extensive
pastoral care and counseling program, and a global missions program extending
throughout the city and around the world. Founded in 1848, we are a congregation
of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).
We are located in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia, on the corner of Peachtree and 16th Streets. We are next door to the High Museum of Art and conveniently located on MARTA bus lines and one block from MARTA's Arts Center Station. Free, convenient parking is available on Sunday mornings. Our building is accessible to those who are in wheelchairs, and we provide hearing devices and large-print bulletins for worship services. For more information, please call 404.892.8461, or e-mail us at youbelong@firstpresatl.org
