If you would like to enjoy the company of new friends, while enjoying some really fun and interesting outings, "Come-On-Along!" Once a month this group gets together for a day trip, luncheon or holiday party. And you're invited! Center for Positive Aging
The primary mission of the Center for Positive Aging is to promote volunteer services and independence for older persons and their families. Here you will find help in preparing people of all ages for an expanded and healthy long life, as well as educational and recreational opportunities. You may take advantage of their huge database of more than 17,000 health and services, selectable by area. FPC is a partner in this organization with other churches, community groups and individuals. LifeSpan Resources, Inc.
Come join the Lunch 'n Learn program each Thursday. Two morning classes or lectures on various subjects begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by lunch at 12:15 p.m.If you want to 'learn' more, stay for the afternoon activities, such as painting classes, or a game of bridge with new friends. Sessions are 8 weeks each, and the location of the session will be one of several participating north Atlanta churches, FPC being one of them.
