YOUTH PROGRAMS

Our youth ministry, for students in grades 6 through 12, provides a Christian community that offers worship, service, study, and fellowship. Our model is the early church described in Acts 2:42-45 - "And they devoted themselves to the Apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayer . . . and all who believed were together and had all things in common, and they sold their possessions and goods and distributed them to all, as any had need."

The Christian community provided for our young people guides them in developing and deepening a faithful relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Our youth program also encourages their commitment to Christ and their reliance on the Holy Spirit to guide them in their daily lives.

This year we hope to emphasize times of study, worship, service, fun and fellowship while encouraging investment from each individual.

Sunday School

Sunday School classes for youth meet year round; during the regular school year, at 10:05 a.m., and during the summer at 9 a.m.

Junior & Senior High Fellowship
For Junior High (6th-8th grade) and for Senior High (9th-12th grade) the youth fellowship program includes Saturday, Sunday afternoon and evening activities and events. The schedule varies weekly, and, in addition to Bible study and service projects, includes retreats and dinners.

Contemporary Worship
Once each month the entire youth group gathers in B111 during the Sunday School hour for a contemporary worship service, which is led by youth, adults and our Youth Band, "The Connection."
