Sunday Morning

Following the 9:00 and 11:15 (10:15 summer) worship services on Sunday mornings, Winship Chapel is open for prayer. Stephen Ministers are present during this time to talk and pray with those who request it.

Tuesday Morning Prayer Service

Every Tuesday morning, at 9:30, a 15-minute prayer service is offered in Winship Chapel for the staff, congregation and community. This service is led by the staff of the church. (No prayer service is held during the summer May 28-August 21, 2007).

Friends of Silence

Dr. Trisha Senterfitt leads this group. She shares a short meditation and scripture, followed by thirty minutes of contemplative silence, and Holy Communion. This small group setting and the gift of silence rejuvenates our souls - a wonderful way to end one week and start another. Join us from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., the first and third Sunday of each month, in the Pastoral Care Offices, Room B320. For more information, call Pat at 404-228-7719.

Dream Group

A Dream Group, led by Tallulah Lyons, meets on the first and third Sunday of each month at 2:30 until 4:30 p.m. The purpose of this small group is to share your dreams as a pathway to inner life and spiritual dialogue. If you would like further information on this group, call 404-228-7719.

Labyrinth Walking

Step out of the noise and rush of life and reconnect with God and yourself on the sacred path of your own church labyrinth. Following the winding path to the center of the design printed on canvas, your body moves into a peaceful rhythm of contemplation, a meditative path to quiet the soul, as you become more closely in tune with God.
