Worship Schedule

Sunday Morning

First Presbyterian Church has worship services in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 11:15. During the summer, we have one service at 10:15. Worship services last about one hour.

Worship includes prayers, the singing of hymns, readings from Scripture (from the New Revised Standard Version of the Holy Bible), and a sermon by our pastor or, on some occasions, by one of our associate pastors, a seminary intern, or a guest preacher. Our services always include outstanding choral and instrumental music.

A communion service is held every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in Winship Chapel. This service lasts one-half hour.

Accessibility for the Disabled

It is our aim that no person, regardless of a disabling condition, be denied access to -- and full enjoyment and participation in -- all of our services and activities. Amplification devices are available during worship services for those with impaired hearing.

Our church buildings, and restroom facilities, are fully accessible to those in wheelchairs and those who might otherwise have difficulty climbing stairs. Please call 404-228-7701 for information about the specific location of ramps and elevators.

Child Care

Child care is available for all services.
