The Wedding Ministry
at First Presbyterian Church

First Presbyterian Church provides a beautiful, sacred setting for weddings. Couples interested in being married at First Presbyterian who are not members of this church must have a significant connection with the church. To schedule your wedding, contact our Wedding Director, Donna Tabaka at 404-228-7765 or dtabaka@firstpresatl.org. She will be your initial contact with the church and will meet with you to discuss your plans and arrangements.

The Wedding Director

All weddings and rehearsals will be supervised by the Wedding Director or one of our team of Wedding Coordinators. They will serve even when an outside consultant is used.

The Wedding Director and all Wedding Coordinators are trained, experienced, and thoroughly knowledgeable in all areas involving church and social etiquette. They will officiate along with the pastor in the management of the rehearsals and weddings. The Wedding Director and the Coordinators are committed to providing guidance and answers to all questions concerning weddings at First Presbyterian Church.

The Wedding Director should be consulted concerning any special circumstances. In the event of a wedding request from a non-member who has a significant tie to our church, wedding dates may not be confirmed more than nine months in advance.

Wedding Services Available

*The Wedding Director will inform couples concerning fees.

• Pre-marital counseling with your officiating pastor.
• Music consultation with the Music Director.
• Wedding programs produced by our Communications Office*.
• Preparation for Marriage Seminar conducted by counselors at the Samaritan Counseling Center.
• Video Taping of your wedding by our own professional production crew*.
• Child care arranged by request*.
• Security and ample parking.
