Sunday Mornings for Children at FPC
Families with children are welcome at each of our services and are always invited to remain for its entirety, where wiggles are expected and encouraged! We believe the best way to raise a child who will continue to worship as a youth and an adult is by inviting them to worship with their church family.
Additionally, we offer classes and opportunities for children of every age throughout the morning. Children of all ages are invited to join their families in worship for the beginning of the service. During the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services, children are invited forward for a Children’s Greeting. Staff then escort children to their various age-level classes for the remainder of the hour.

Nursery-Preschool
Nursery-Preschool classrooms open at 9:15 a.m. for care of children 2 months old through Kindergarten, and remain open until 12:15 p.m.

Sunday School Classes
Sunday School classes are offered for Preschool and Kindergarten Children from 10:00-10:55 a.m. in the Nursery-Preschool Hall. Children are greeted by professional nursery staff who lead activity stations and playground time, as well as provide a Goldfish and water snack.
Children’s Ministry volunteers lead a Bible story, activity and music time. Parents pick-up children from classrooms at the end of the hour. Alternatively, if a family is remaining for 11:00 a.m. worship, children are welcome to remain in the classroom for Godly Play, or they may be picked-up by parents to attend the first part of worship together.

Godly Play
Godly Play is offered for children in Pre-Kindergarten through Third Grade who do not wish to remain in the 9:10 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship services. Godly Play is a Montessori-style approach to Biblical education. It’s a creative, imaginative approach to Christian formation and spiritual guidance. Parents pick-up children from their classroom at the end of worship.
