The Grace & Light Gallery
The Grace & Light Gallery is a new space for art at First Presbyterian Church, created as part of the church’s most recent renovation work. Designed to provide a dedicated setting for visual art, the gallery extends First Presbyterian's long tradition of bringing faith and the arts into conversation through music, architecture, stained glass, and other creative expression. Through changing exhibitions featuring artists and their work, Grace & Light invites members, visitors, and the wider community to encounter beauty, explore new perspectives, and consider the ways art can illuminate both the sacred and everyday life.
To celebrate the opening of the Grace & Light Gallery, First Pres welcomed members and friends for the inaugural exhibition, Liturgy of Light, featuring the work of longtime member and award-winning artist and designer Jim Wise. The exhibition brings together Wise’s meticulously rendered paintings, which explore the interplay of light, beauty, permanence, and change. Watch highlights from the opening and get a first look at the new gallery and the work that brought it to life.
